Five Sentence Fiction – Limitless

I hear all my inner barriers collapse to the ground.

Or maybe it’s the sound of the waves crashing all around my weightless body as I kick and push against the water.

Right in this moment, the entire world stops existing and there’s just me and the ocean.

I’m in the sweet state of comfort and calmness; not a single thought passes my mind as I cut through the surface.

I am limitless.

  1. As I say, when you can spend the last sentence on something short like you did and the piece not lose any of its power, you have written a great statement.
